Swan Boats of the Public Garden

The Swan Boats have operated in the Boston Public Garden lagoon since 1877 and are a longstanding seasonal neighborhood attraction. The pedal-powered boats were started by Jonathan B. Russell and continue to offer guided rides during the spring and summer months. They are widely recognized as an iconic feature of the Public Garden and Back Bay area.
