Dritt Mansion

Dritt Mansion, also known as Pleasant Garden, is a historic house located in Lower Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania. Built around 1758, this 2+1⁄2-story fieldstone dwelling has remained largely unchanged and features a cedar-shingled gable roof. The site has a rich history, originally granted to Thomas Cresap in 1729, who operated a ferry and was involved in early territorial disputes. Today, the mansion serves as the home of the Zimmerman Center for Heritage, hosting various heritage programs and the Visions of the Susquehanna River Art Collection. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in American history.
