Crown Hill Cemetery – large historic cemetery with notable local graves

Crown Hill Cemetery, established in 1863, encompasses over 500 acres and is one of the largest non-government cemeteries in the United States. It is the burial place of President Benjamin Harrison, poet James Whitcomb Riley, and bank robber John Dillinger, among others. The cemetery is the site of historical tours, veterans' memorials, and locally attended events.
