Mount Pleasant, also known as the Clemson Family Farm, is a historic home located in Union Bridge, Maryland, built around 1815. This charming five-bay, two-bay brick structure features a gable roof and is accompanied by several outbuildings, including a brick wash house and a timber-braced wagon shed. The property was once the home farm of the Farquhar family, influential Quakers of Scotch-Irish descent who played a key role in establishing the nearby Pipe Creek Settlement. Recognized for its historical significance, Mount Pleasant was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
