Luxor Pyramid and the Luxor Sky Beam

Luxor Las Vegas is a glass-sided pyramid-shaped hotel whose 355-foot-tall structure is capped by the Luxor Sky Beam. The Sky Beam is produced by 39 xenon lamps and is among the strongest beams of continuous light worldwide, visible from aircraft and in some satellite imagery. The resort opened in 1993 as one of the Strip's most recognizable themed buildings.
