International Rose Test Garden

The International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park was established in 1917 and is the oldest continuously operating public rose test garden in the United States. It serves as a testing ground for new rose varieties and is closely associated with Portland's 'City of Roses' identity. The garden contains thousands of rose bushes and hosts seasonal public viewing and rose-related events.
