Glover Cottages

The Glover Cottages are two semi-detached buildings located in Millers Point, Sydney, New South Wales, completed in the Colonial Georgian style between 1820 and 1838. Constructed by Edward Ewen and later owned by publican Thomas Glover, these cottages reflect the early residential architecture of Sydney and the area's development prior to formal street layouts. They are notable for their historical significance as one of the few remaining examples of 1820s vernacular stone cottages in inner Sydney. The cottages were restored in 1979 and are heritage-listed, showcasing the unique architectural style and the region's history, making them an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
