Brattle Hall

Brattle Hall is a historic building located near Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, constructed in 1889 for the Cambridge Social Union. Originally designed in the Dutch Colonial Revival style, it evolved to feature Colonial Revival elements after a 1907 addition. Today, Brattle Hall serves as a vibrant social center, housing the Brattle Theatre, a popular repertory movie house, along with a restaurant and coffee shop. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and is part of the Harvard Square Historic District.
