United States Botanic Garden

The United States Botanic Garden, established by an act of Congress in 1820, operates a conservatory and outdoor gardens on the National Mall. Its Conservatory displays living plant collections from around the world, including rare and endangered species. The Garden runs educational programs and plant conservation initiatives and the adjacent National Garden features themed plantings and a rose garden.
