Rodin Museum - largest collection of Rodin outside Paris

The Rodin Museum in Philadelphia holds one of the largest collections of Auguste Rodin sculptures outside the Musée Rodin in Paris; the core collection was donated by collector Jules Mastbaum. The museum's holdings include casts of major works such as The Thinker and The Gates of Hell. The museum opened on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in 1929 and remains a principal site for Rodin's sculptures in the United States.
