San Antonio Japanese Tea Garden (Brackenridge Park)

The Japanese Tea Garden occupies a landscaped former limestone rock quarry in Brackenridge Park and features stone pathways, masonry, a pond with koi, and garden plantings. Much of the site's stonework and landscaping was developed during the 1930s and 1940s, including projects tied to city and federal-era programs. The garden has been a long-standing public attraction and historic landscape feature in San Antonio. It is managed as part of the city's park system and is open to visitors.
