Susanna Farm

Susanna Farm is a historic home located in Dawsonville, Montgomery County, Maryland. This L-shaped, 2+1⁄2-story frame dwelling was significantly renovated in the Italianate style by Benjamin F. Dyson in 1877-78, effectively doubling its size and value. The property features five outbuildings, including a stone kitchen/slave quarters and a meat house believed to date back to the house's original construction, along with an 1870s frame bank barn and 20th-century farm buildings. Susanna Farm was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it an intriguing site for both tourists and researchers interested in Maryland's architectural history.
