Memorial Hall (Milford, Massachusetts)

Memorial Hall, located at 30 School Street in Milford, Massachusetts, is a historic tribute to the Civil War, designed by local architect Frederick Swasey in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. Built in 1884 from local granite and brownstone, it features intricate carvings and panels honoring figures like Grant and Farragut, along with a bronze plaque of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 and restored in 2001-2002, it now houses the Milford Historical Commission, welcoming visitors to its museum on Thursdays or by appointment.
