Seaholm Power Plant (Seaholm District)

The Seaholm Power Plant is a mid-20th-century industrial power plant in downtown Austin that was adaptively reused during the Seaholm District redevelopment for retail, office, and event uses while retaining much of its original industrial architecture. The site and surrounding district include public art installations and are cited as an example of urban redevelopment that integrated historic industrial structures into a mixed-use creative district. The former plant building and plaza now host cultural and community events alongside commercial tenants.
