Hall of Fossils - Deep Time at the National Museum of Natural History

The National Museum of Natural History's Hall of Fossils - Deep Time reopened in June 2019 after a multi-year renovation. The exhibition presents hundreds of fossil specimens and interpretive displays that explain life preserved in rock across geologic time. The hall includes mounted skeletal exhibits and original fossil specimens used for research and public education. The renovation and exhibits are documented by the Smithsonian Institution.
