Asticus Building

The Asticus Building, located at 21 Palmer Street in the City of Westminster, London, is a striking architectural landmark designed by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. Completed in 2006, its unique cylindrical shape on a concrete frame maximizes natural light, overcoming challenges posed by surrounding seven-storey buildings that left the site undeveloped for 25 years. The building features a 'blister' structure at the rear to optimize space and layout. Notable tenants include The Work Foundation, and outside the entrance stands Tim Morgan's contemporary steel and glass sculpture, Cypher. In 2016, the building was acquired by Axa Investment Managers for £80 million, highlighting its value in the heart of London.
