Pioneer Plaza Cattle Drive Sculptures

Pioneer Plaza features a large public sculpture representing a cattle drive consisting of 49 bronze longhorn steers and three trail riders, created by sculptor Robert Summers and installed in 1994. The installation sits in a landscaped, terraced plaza that commemorates the 19th-century cattle drives that passed through the area now occupied by downtown Dallas. The site is a well-known public art landmark adjacent to the convention center and central business district.
