Franklin Post Office

The Franklin Post Office, also known as the Old Log Post Office, is a historic building in Franklin, Ohio, dating back to 1802. It is the oldest surviving post office in the state and the oldest building in the city. Originally the home of the first postmaster, John N. C. Schenck, it was relocated in 1974 to its current site near the Great Miami River Recreation Trail, making it accessible for visitors. The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 17, 1976, highlighting its significance in American history.
