Rodin Museum - one of the largest collections of Auguste Rodin's works outside France

The Rodin Museum in Philadelphia houses a substantial collection of sculptures, drawings, and studies by French sculptor Auguste Rodin, assembled largely through the efforts of collector Jules Mastbaum and opened to the public in 1929. The museum's holdings, including multiple casts of The Thinker and The Gates of Hell, make it one of the largest and most important collections of Rodin's work outside of France. The museum is managed by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and is situated on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
