Kent and Hitchens Houses

The Kent and Hitchens Houses are historic Italian Villa style homes located in Williamsport, Indiana, built in 1854. These two-story brick dwellings are notable for their unique architectural features, including three-story corner towers set at an angle. Originally mirror images of each other, one of the houses was tragically lost to a fire in the 1990s. The remaining house is recognized for its historical significance, having been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
