Nils Ericson Terminal

The Nils Ericson Terminal is a modern bus station located in the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden, built in 1995. It is conveniently situated next to Gothenburg Central Station and will soon connect to the new Centralen station. The terminal is across from the Nordstan shopping center, making it easily accessible to tourists and researchers alike. It serves various destinations in Västra Götaland County and offers services from major bus companies to cities like Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. With a total area of 5,000 square meters, the terminal features 18 indoor gates and 11 outdoor gates, providing a comfortable travel experience akin to modern airports. Named after Swedish inventor Nils Ericson, the terminal was designed by architect Niels Torp and won the prestigious Kasper Salin Prize in 1996.
