Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park (Hohokam platform mound)

Pueblo Grande preserves an extensive Hohokam archaeological site including a platform mound, irrigation features, and a museum building interpreting prehistoric village remains. The on-site museum displays Hohokam artifacts and explains ancient irrigation and farming practices of the region's pre-Columbian inhabitants. The site is an important example of urban archaeology located within modern Phoenix.
