The Blue Bear ('I See What You Mean') at the Colorado Convention Center

Lawrence Argent's sculpture 'I See What You Mean,' commonly called the Blue Bear, stands outside the Colorado Convention Center and is one of downtown Denver's most recognizable pieces of public art. The painted-aluminum bear, approximately 40 feet tall, was installed in 2005 and visually peers into the convention center atrium. It is highly visible from the 16th Street Mall and is frequently photographed by visitors and locals.
