American Museum of Natural History

Founded in 1869, the American Museum of Natural History on Manhattan's Upper West Side houses vast scientific collections and public exhibits. Its halls include major dinosaur fossil displays and the Rose Center for Earth and Space, which contains the Hayden Planetarium.
