Pueblo Grande Archaeological Park and Museum

Pueblo Grande preserves a Hohokam platform mound and the remnants of an ancient village within a museum and park setting. The site interprets precontact irrigation agriculture and community layout with excavated features, artifacts, and exhibits. The Hohokam occupation at Pueblo Grande spans roughly AD 450–1450, providing tangible examples of earthen and adobe construction techniques used in the Salt River Valley.
