Toxteth Town Hall

Toxteth Town Hall, located in Merseyside, England, is a historic municipal building that has transformed into a community centre. Originally opened in 1866 as Toxteth Park Public Offices, it was designed in the Italianate style by architect Thomas Layland. The building features a striking symmetrical facade and an assembly hall adorned with decorative plasterwork. It has served various purposes over the years, including a registry office where notable figures like Ringo Starr were registered. After a period of vacancy, it was refurbished and reopened in 2003, and has since been a focal point for community activities, even hosting a visit from the Prince of Wales in 2007.
