Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge

The Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge is a city-owned wildlife preserve covering more than 3,600 acres of forests, prairies, and wetlands. The site offers miles of hiking trails, canoe launches on Lake Worth, and interpretive programs for visitors. The refuge maintains a small herd of American bison and participates in regional conservation efforts.
