AFLAC Tower, located in Rowley, Iowa, is a remarkable communication tower standing at 1,999 feet (609 m) tall, making it one of the tallest structures in the United States. Completed in July 1984, it serves as a broadcasting site for television station KWWL and radio stations KFMW and KNWS-FM. The tower features a unique antenna appurtenance that adds an additional 133 feet (41 m) to its height. The KWWL transmitter site includes basic living amenities, such as running water and a shower, ensuring operational staff can maintain the facility.
