Luxor Sky Beam

The Luxor Sky Beam is the vertical searchlight emitted from the apex of the Luxor Hotel's glass pyramid and has been an ongoing exterior lighting feature since the resort opened. The beam is produced by an array of xenon lamps (commonly reported as 39 lamps) and is among the most powerful commercial exterior beams in Las Vegas. It is a frequent subject of nighttime photography and time-lapse videos shared on social media. The beam's distinctive column of light is a regularly photographed element of the southern Strip skyline.
