University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus is in Paradise, not the city

The main UNLV campus at 4505 S Maryland Pkwy carries a Las Vegas postal address but is situated in unincorporated Paradise, outside the City of Las Vegas municipal boundary. As a result, some municipal services and land-use authority for the campus fall under Clark County rather than the City of Las Vegas. This is a common example of institutions in the Las Vegas mailing area that lie outside city limits.
