Millennium Library (Winnipeg)

The Millennium Library, located in downtown Winnipeg, is the main branch of the Winnipeg Public Library system, attracting around 5,000 visitors daily. Opened in 1977 and extensively renovated in 2005, the library features a stunning four-storey design with a grand staircase, public art, and a local history room. It offers a diverse range of services, including dedicated spaces for children and teens, a Writer-in-Residence program, and access to a vast collection of books and multimedia. The library is also connected to the Winnipeg Walkway system and is adjacent to Millennium Library Park, making it a vibrant hub for both locals and tourists.
