Tokarev House

The Tokarev House, located in the Kirovsky District of Rostov-on-Don, Russia, is a historic edifice built in 1905 by merchant Nikilay Ilyich Tokarev. This Beaux-Arts style building features a blend of baroque, rococo, and classic architectural elements, including ornate moldings and decorative cornices. Originally a revenue house, it housed various businesses before being nationalized in 1920 and repurposed as a hospital. Notably, it hosted Clementine Churchill during her visit in 1945. After a restoration in the late 1990s, it continues to serve as city hospital No. 10, making it a significant cultural heritage site for both tourists and researchers.
