Riverside Church

Riverside Church was completed in 1930 with major financial support from John D. Rockefeller Jr. and was designed in a neo-Gothic style by the firm Allen & Collens. Its limestone bell tower rises roughly 392 feet, making it one of the tallest church towers in the United States, and contains a large carillon used for concerts and liturgical purposes. The church has hosted notable public figures and long-running music and arts programs connected to the congregation and wider civic life.
