Houses At 16-22 East Lee Street

The Houses At 16-22 East Lee Street in Hagerstown, Maryland, are a notable group of five historic rowhouses built around 1894. These 2+1⁄2-story homes showcase lower middle class domestic architecture and feature brick and stone foundations, along with two inner passageways that connect the street to the rear of the buildings. Recognized for their historical significance, they were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, although much of their original detailing has been obscured by modern materials.
