Denver International Airport (Jeppesen Terminal & Blue Mustang)

Denver International Airport is the primary commercial airport serving Denver and is located on the city's far northeast side; its Jeppesen Terminal is noted for a peaked tensile roof designed to evoke the Rocky Mountains. A large painted-aluminum sculpture by Luis Jiménez, officially titled 'Mustang' and commonly called 'Blue Mustang,' stands on the airport grounds near Peña Boulevard. DIA is a major transportation and economic gateway for the Denver region and a widely recognized landmark.
