Delaware and Hudson Canal Company Office

The Delaware and Hudson Canal Company Office, now known as the Roebling Inn, is a historic mid-19th century wooden house located in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania. Built in the Greek Revival style, it served as the regional office for the canal company until its closure in 1898. The building has been preserved and transformed into a bed and breakfast, retaining much of its original charm, including a central-hall floor plan and unique attic plaster walls. Situated near the scenic Delaware River and close to notable landmarks like Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct and the Zane Grey Museum, the property offers a glimpse into the region's industrial history and architectural heritage. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
