Cedar Hill - Frederick Douglass National Historic Site

Cedar Hill was Frederick Douglass's home from 1877 until his death in 1895 and is preserved as the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site. The property includes the house where Douglass lived, worked, and hosted visitors, and the burial plot on the grounds where he is interred. The site is managed by the National Park Service and interprets Douglass's later life, activism, and legacy.
