9 Market Place is a historic building located in Richmond, North Yorkshire, England, originally constructed as a house in the early 18th century. It features distinctive red brick architecture with rusticated quoins, a heavy cornice, and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and four bays, showcasing sash windows with moulded surrounds on the upper floor. In 1936, it was transformed into a Woolworths store, which later moved in the 1970s, leading to its occupation by WHSmith. Notably, it was designated as a grade II* listed building in 1952, highlighting its architectural and historical significance.
