Palazzo Panciatichi

Palazzo Panciatichi, also known as Palazzo del Balì, is a medieval aristocratic palace located in Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy. Built in 1320 by the Ghibelline banker Vinciguerra d'Astancollo Panciatichi, the palace features a striking stone façade with three floors, wide arches, and unique squared windows. Historically significant, it has housed notable figures such as Pope Alexander V and Lorenzo il Magnifico during tumultuous times. The palace has witnessed various historical events, including battles and factional conflicts, and was restored after being damaged in World War II.
