Fisher Building lobby mosaics and decorative art

The Fisher Building, completed in 1928–1929 and designed by Albert Kahn, is an Art Deco skyscraper whose three-story lobby contains extensive decorative mosaics, tilework, and sculptural ornament. The lobby and retail concourse have been widely cited as significant examples of architectural decorative art open to the public. The building remains a prominent example of integrated public art within commercial architecture in Detroit.
