Heidelberg Project outdoor art walls

The Heidelberg Project is an outdoor community art environment created by Tyree Guyton beginning in 1986 that transforms houses and vacant lots along Heidelberg Street into painted installations and murals. It is community-driven and has been the site of ongoing public painting, exhibitions, and neighborhood art events. The project is a longstanding example of resident-led street-scale art that incorporates walls, facades, and found objects into public art displays.
