Boston Garden - longtime home of the Celtics

The Boston Garden served as the home arena for the Boston Celtics from the franchise’s founding in 1946 until the team moved to the FleetCenter (now TD Garden) in 1995. During that period the Celtics won multiple NBA championships and the Garden became closely associated with the team’s mid-20th-century dynasties. The venue also hosted hockey, boxing, and other major sporting events during its operation.
