Texpark site

The Texpark site is a notable vacant lot in Downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, often referred to as 'downtown's biggest gaping hole.' Once home to a municipal parking garage demolished in 2004, the site has seen various development proposals, including a controversial plan for two 27-storey towers known as the 'Twisted Sisters.' Despite city approval, no construction has occurred, leaving the area in limbo. The site is surrounded by key streets and a five-storey office building, making it a focal point for urban development discussions and a symbol of Halifax's evolving cityscape.
