Château du Francport

The Château du Francport, located in Choisy-au-Bac, Oise, is a historic 19th-century château that played a significant role during World War I as the accommodation for German emissaries during the Armistice negotiations in November 1918. The château has been featured in notable photography, including a work by Count Olympe Aguado in the J. Paul Getty Museum. Although there were plans to convert it into a luxury hotel, the project did not materialize, and it is currently operated as a restaurant known as the Château des Bonshommes, offering visitors a unique dining experience in a setting steeped in history.
