Asian Art Museum

The Asian Art Museum occupies the former San Francisco Main Library building near Civic Center and moved there in 2003. Its collection includes more than 18,000 works spanning several millennia and is considered among the most comprehensive collections of Asian art worldwide. The museum presents rotating exhibitions, educational programs, and community events that engage San Francisco's diverse Asian and broader communities.
