Jonathan Fletcher House

The Jonathan Fletcher House, built around 1835 in Medford, Massachusetts, is a remarkable example of transitional Federal-Greek Revival architecture. This historic 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house features a distinctive front gable roof, a deep porch supported by Tuscan columns, and retains many original interior features inspired by the designs of Asher Benjamin. Located near the village centers of Medford and West Medford, the house is set against a backdrop of a period granite retaining wall and includes historical elements such as a hitching post.
