Mystery Castle terraces

Mystery Castle was built in the 1930s by Boyce Luther Gulley from found and recycled materials and is located on the northern slopes of South Mountain. The multi-level structure includes terraces and patios that overlook the Salt River Valley and downtown Phoenix. The site is operated as a house museum and is documented as a local historic attraction that offers elevated views of the city from its foothill setting.
