Collin House

Collin House, located at Amaliegade No. 9 in central Copenhagen, is a stunning example of Neoclassical architecture and a significant historical site. Built in 1752, it was originally owned by a chair maker and later became the residence of Jonas Collin, a notable civil servant and patron of the arts during Denmark's Golden Age. The house is famously associated with Hans Christian Andersen, who frequently visited. Today, the building features three floors with apartments and houses NoriDane Foods in its rear wing, making it a blend of historical charm and modern functionality.
