Lok Niwas, Port Blair

Lok Niwas, formerly known as Raj Niwas, serves as the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, situated in Port Blair. Opened to tourists in February 2018, this historic site offers visitors a glimpse into the administrative heart of the islands. The residence has also been a focal point for political activities, including a notable protest in October 2024 regarding local development issues.
