Old Town Hall in Szombierki

The Old Town Hall in Szombierki, located in Bytom, Poland, is a historic building that once served as the seat of local government for the Schomberg Municipality until 1945, and later for Gmina Chruszczów until 1951. Visitors can explore the remnants of its past, including the site where a memorial for World War I casualties once stood, featuring a captured Russian mortar. Although the memorial was destroyed in 1945 and the pedestal removed during renovations in 2009, the town hall remains a significant landmark reflecting the area's rich history.
